Brent crude trading at $75.55/bbl

Crude oil prices increased by Rs109 to Rs5,911 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 1.95 per cent to $70.69 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 2.03 per cent higher at $75.55 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 109 or 1.88 per cent at Rs 5,911 per barrel in 17,069 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
